To winnow is to blow something away until you are left with what you want, like grain from chaff. We have been working hard on winnowing our daily lives and weeding out what no longer fits and trying to be conscious consumers is part of that. I have combined my love for architecture and design (before I was a farmer I designed celebrity nurseries and film sets!) with my 15+ years at Polyfce Farm to create a space for my favorite growers, online courses, podcasts, books, seed catalogs, farmers, restaurants, recipes, articles, farmartisans (farm-artisans), earth friendly products, earth friendly people, seasonal living tips and more! I get hundreds of emails a week from folks looking for land or a farm to start their adventures, farm to table restaurants, sustainable products, a quiet getaway and more!
